Description and specification - 4N Modular House

STANDARD MODULE - 18 m2

1. MEASURES

The Standard Module for a 4N Modular House is 18 m2, which is designed to be modularly expanded as needed.

The measurements for the assembled module are:

  • Outer width/length/height 2 592/7 249/2 601 mm (with roof 3 541)
  • Inner width/length/height 2 404/7 061/2 445 mm
  • Inner volume 41,50 m3
  • Net floor area 16,97 m2

The Modular House will be delivered to the place of assembly in thirteen (13) elements; ten (10) wall elements, three (3) floor elements.

2. STRUCTURE

The structure of the elements is made of plain, spore resistant, fir wood. The wooden structure is covered with a special B4N building board.

The thicknesses of the elements are:

  • Outside wall 94mm
  • Inside wall 91mm
  • Floor 141 mm
3. PACKAGE FOR TRANSPORTATION

The 4N Modular Houses and other materials will be shipped in 40 ft hc standard sea containers if not otherwise agreed.

Efficient use of transportation is at the core of 4N Modular House design. With effective transportation we minimize the cost of transportation, as well as any environmental impacts.

5. ASSEMBLY

The elements are designed in a way that allows the modular extension of the 4N Modular House. They can be mounted together from longer and/or shorter sides. Because of this connectivity the buildings can be disassembled and reassembled in different combinations, making them highly reusable.
